The Daily Donkey is a horse racing advisory service.

We identify those horses which we expect will lose their races. By 'laying' those horses on Betdaq or Betfair (i.e. betting on them to lose) our members can make a long term betting profit.

We put most of the selections up on the site before 13.30 GMT each day. We add further selections as the day goes on - so keep checking back.

Once the selections go up on the site they stay there - no changes are made. All selections are recorded in our results.

There's no charge for this service - but we do ask that you open a new account with one of our advertisers. That is how we keep the service free

For those who through time constraints have difficulty in placing our selections we recommend the services of lay2lose.com (http://www.lay2lose.com/dailydonkey.htm)

Just a word of caution - our service aims to make a steady consistent profit. But there will be good days & bad days. Be prepared for peaks & troughs - have a look through our results before you decide how much you can afford to bet.

Please remember - what we are trying to do is lay at or below SP over hundreds & thousands of selections. The 'view odds' buttons on our site will give you a guide as to what SP will be. You should also pay heed to the Racing Post forecast odds as we use these odds when selecting each 'donkey'. If the odds available on the exchanges are much higher than the expected odds in the Racing Post then the lay may be of no value. Consider avoiding it.

If you are not comfortable with trading your way to the best price, then our advice is as follows. Do not take the first price you see on the exchanges. Once you have decided what the correct price is put the lay up on the exchange and wait for it to be matched.

If the lay isn't matched then try in running.

If that isn't matched then leave it, there'll be more races.

Remember: laying horses involves risk.

Never risk more money than you can afford to lose.
